The first thing you’d expect from something that’s made later/updated this year HAS to be more advanced and have tons of new features. Right? RIGHT?
Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Microsoft Office 2019 although IS technically an upgrade and has new features and additions to MS Office 2016, they still aren’t a lot. It barely makes a difference in your day-to-day use.
It’s expensive to upgrade, full of hassle, and a person who is used to Office 2016 may see a little bit of difference with the Office 2019 interface and not like it so much. But that’s just a subjective take on this.
Coming to purchasing it, if you haven’t ever purchased MS Office, you would be better off with an Office 365 subscription (monthly/yearly) because not only is it CHEAPER, but it is also constantly updated and renewed.
A Microsoft Office 2019 License Key only needs to be purchased ONCE, and doesn’t have any recurring costs. It’s not a subscription and is just a one-time purchase.

Moving on, Office 2019 can ONLY be installed on Windows 10 and doesn’t support anything lower than that, not even Windows 8 or 8.1.
Therefore, if you are already using Office 2016 Professional Plus for example, then DO NOT upgrade to Office 2019. But if you really want the latest features, it is highly recommended you go for Office 365 instead.
