Both the Last Stand 1 and 2 were fan favorites and were further developed into The Last Stand: Union City with way more features and a more intricate system. The gameplay became more sidescroller-roguelike with RPG aspects to it.

Finally, they released The Last Stand: Aftermath in late 2021 continuing the story where they left off at Union City. A completely brand new game with mindblowing visuals and it’s hard to say they made the last 3 games.

It went from a browser game… to this masterpiece. TLS Aftermath is everything you can expect from a successor sequel. Brand new mechanics, brand new gameplay, and tons of replayability.

Steam Summer Sale 2022 – Hints From The Future

There’s a cool cyberpunk-ish twist this time though – Steam wants us to believe that it’s from the year 3000 and has a cool treasure hunt mini-game inside, during the life of this sale. Everyone can participate!

Anyway. Steam Sales. THEY RETURN! Gaben has come to steal your money once more, and like clockwork, you will have 80% of your library unplayed. But the games will still be dirt cheap so… WIN WIN?!

Alright – let’s get down to the news then – Valve just confirmed the rest of the Steam Sales dates and boy, oh boy – we’re gonna go broke again. >:(

  • Steam Halloween Sale – October 28 – November 1, 2021.
  • Steam Autumn Sale – November 24 – 30, 2021.
  • Steam Winter Sale – December 22, 2021 – January 5, 2022.

There’s also BIG BIG BIG sales coming on Epic Games, and on EA – so also stay tuned for that! Epic Games have already given away a lot of cool stuff weekly and monthly for the past year in order to become a popular platform; and it’s working. A lot of people are actually shifting to Epic or at least using it as much as Steam! Good for them.

We here at Gamersoutlet.net have compiled a great list of pixel graphic games made by talented indie studios that you should definitely have a go at.

1. NOITA

A rogue-like procedurally generated pixel graphic game, Noita is one of the most addictive games on our list. This game is extremely difficult to master and you will die multiple times.

2. DEAD CELLS

Dead cells, is simply a “Kill, die, learn, repeat” game, where you upgrade yourself and keep getting stronger, better and wiser with every session. A 2D action platformer, this is a very aesthetically pleasing and wonderfully crafted game that you must definitely get your hands on – it has got a very high replayability value!

3. CRAWL

Now this is a great concept – a local multiplayer game that allows up to 4 players to join in; Crawl is a game where you’re thrown into the depths of hell and your friends control the monsters!!! You can either choose to be the hero, or, make sure he never leaves! And if a friend manages to kill ya – it’s their turn to CRAWL!

What To Look Out For During This Steam Winter Sale!

It’s been almost a week since the Steam Sales kicked off for this winter, as usual…. What should you look out for? Are the deals really that good? Are your pockets ready to feel the wrath of Gaben?!

Let’s get down to it. First, you should go check out Steam’s Top Games of 2020. As they mention, most of them are already heavily discounted and you should totally get them until the 5th Jan.

Not to mention, the steam points you accumulate can be used for some pretty sick profile banners, icons and all other cool jazz!

To take a deep dive into the games that you should totally get (reviewed by critics and gamers to give it a high score) check out this really cool guide via PCGamer, that has divided the games into different price sections. (I scrolled down to the below $5 category because I’m broke as hell lmao).

EA Play Coming To Steam, Confirmed Game Release Dates For 2020 and MORE!

We have tons of updates for this week in gaming!

Hope you’re all safe and stocked up for a brand new era in gaming!

Our first biggest update is about EA Play – an exclusive subscription coming to Steam on August 31 this year! This means EA games will be available on 4 platforms; Xbox, Playstation, Steam and EA’s very own Origin.

The base price is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year which is the standard subscription. The premium option is $14.99 per month, or $99.99 annually, which includes early access to all of EA’s new titles.

Finally, for all you Nintendo fans, let’s talk about the Nintendo Indie World Showcase!

It was livestreamed a few days ago, and during the Indie World Showcase, Nintendo showed off a number of high-profile titles coming to Switch. Although it’s not a very epic update, it’s still a few cool games!

The lineup includes games like Hades, Card Shark, Bear and Breakfast, etc.

Besides that, fan favourite game “Untitled Goose Game” is getting a 2 player co-op mode!

Steam Summer Sale – Things You Shouldn’t Miss Out On
