COD MW II Requirements Revealed, Response To Overwatch 2, Sims 5 Details, and more!

This week is packed with a lot of gaming updates.

Let’s just start with the elephant in the room – Cyberpunk 2077. This game is still getting 1 million concurrent “chooms” logging into their accounts every day. Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the new Netflix TV show has actually contributed to 80% of that. Probably more. That wasn’t so surprising considering so many people (including us) loved the show!

In other news, the requirements to run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been released.

It’s not that crazy, so you can actually run it. Check the requirements in the image below!

Not too bad, you see?! And now, for our next topic: Sims 5. It still has a few years to come out, but it has been codenamed Project Rene. It was mentioned during EA’s livestream “Behind The Sims Summit.” It will be the future of all Sims games, according to them. Well, let’s wait and find out!

To wrap it up – Overwatch 2. Good? Bad? Mixed? Well, the fans have to say (the majority of them at least) that they’re pissed and this is more like Overwatch 1.1! They’re not impressed and have given generally negative reviews.

The Return Of Cyberpunk 2077

As of now, the only things we’ve heard or seen about CDPR’s Cyberpunk are the incompleteness of the game, the buggy structure and their ultimate downfall. Their stocks have dipped, credibility and trustworthiness have taken a hit and, well Sony even took it off the store at one point. That’s how bad it was.

Well, now, things are different. How, one may ask? We’ll tell you. Have you heard of a little thing called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix? It’s a brand new animated series out in the universe of Cyberpunk 2077.

It was just out this month and has already captivated everyone with its brilliant story, characters, animation and the overall vibe. With a perfect score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes as of writing this article, and a whopping 8.6 on IMDb, this is a treat.

A lot of old players (recurring) and new players are making this number go higher each day. Do you think the hype will live up or die down in a week? The show is doing insanely well. If it is renewed, CDPR might even consider adding mods and DLCs to the game.

For now – CDPR is doing well, and it’s good to hear that they’re in the spotlight again, but for all the right reasons. Hope they continue this streak.

CD Projekt Red Co-Founder Issues Big Apology – Future of CP2077

Things haven’t been going too well for CD Projekt Red, with rumors of investors suing them for releasing an unfinished game, to gamers complaining for the insane amount of glitches and bugs on last gen consoles and even on PC, they’ve been hit with a lot of shitstorms lately.

Even after so much, they’ve tried to be consistent and released hotfixes and patches to try and minimize the damage caused. It’s been a rocky road for them but somehow they are surviving. A big blow for them was when they decided to completely take the game off of the Playstation Store. They started issuing refunds to all the buyers who were dissatisfied or had a horrible experience, mostly because everyone had really high expectations from the studio, and the game. Previously worked on titles like the Witcher series, fans were expecting a lot more, and the marketing didn’t cause any less hype. With Keanu Reeves at the forefront and the poster boy for the game, everybody already had voted this as the GOTY in their minds.

Guess they were wrong! To ease into the situation, the studio’s co-founder speaks to us in a heartfelt video explaining what went wrong, and we should expect in near future.

Public apologies are always difficult, and owning up to them even more so. With the amount of hate received by the studio recently, they needed to make things clear from their side, also because a lot of crazy fans were pushing the game devs and designers with death threats and harmful messages.

That is totally uncool and unwarranted. Well, let’s see what the future holds, with the free DLC dropping this year things might change and help people get a different perspective.

Why Is Cyberpunk 2077 So Buggy?

Cyberpunk 2077 was released today, December 10th. But it’s been alive for a very long time. 7 years in making. Finally, today we get to see the life of Night City, as V.

It’s somewhere near the end of the 21st century. You’re cybernetically enhanced, you can customize parts of your body and be whoever you want to be, as long as you have the dough. Yet, you’re in a black hole of your own past, dark, helpless and tired of running away from your issues. You’re sitting on a couch, watching some news on a high tech viewing device while drinking a fluorescent liquid that can bring your half human, half cyborg body down to the levels of tipsiness. You are thinking. About life. About death. Should you end it? Or should you reset your brain and live pain and guilt free? You get up and look out of the window, only to see the sentinels beat a guy who once sold you some synthesized mind stabilizers, to his death.

Then, why are gamers angry? Why is the game so damn buggy? Well, for starters, it’s Day 0 of launch. We gotta be patient. For now, it’s poorly optimized and they are working on a new patch already. With the crash reports from all the players, they will design a patch that improves performance, stabilizes the issues and removes these funny bugs.

What bugs, you may ask?

Among disappearing penises and random cars crashing into NPCs, there’s a lot of them, check out this short compilation of some CB2077 bugs found in-game!

Well, as I said, no need to worry. The bugs shall be fixed and a patch should be on the way.

Well, well, well…. CD Projekt Red has done it again! Although not in a way we like.

A letter from the developers

Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed yet again. Not much to say here, but the developers made it clear in their letter.

A major disappointment for all the fans who pre-ordered the game and were waiting for it… for so long. Well, at least the internet got a few good chuckles over this and a ton of memes!

On the brighter side, we are gonna get a game that is (hopefully) without any bugs, glitches and is fully polished and complete. A lot of people are butthurt over it but then again… would you play a game that’s incomplete and released 21 days earlier or something that’s just 3 weeks of wait and a brilliant experience for a long time? You decide.

Nvidia Reveals Epic Cyberpunk 2077 RTX 2080Ti (That You Can’t Buy)

Well played Nvidia, showcase something that someone can’t buy? Oh well, it is definitely a one-time limited edition made specifically for the game, and some lucky streamer or YouTuber will probably get the chance to use it or review it.

They’ve made only 77 of these and 77 random lucky people will be able to get it.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t admire it!

An official announcement will be coming out soon, and will let us know when the GPU will be given away. Since Cyberpunk 2077 has already been delayed to September, we’ll just have to wait…

Everything aside, it looks truly epic and I hope I get one 😂😂

Delays, Delays and MORE DELAYS! :(

Dying Light 2 Delayed

Being a big game developing studio and having the hopes of millions of people attached to it has it’s pros and cons – Tons of support, hundreds of thousands of concurrent players, cool communities and more… But it also puts a lot of pressure on these studios, which is why they take more time to release certain games, to keep up with the hype.

The same has happened with 2 brilliant and very famous studios, and both the games they were working on, have been delayed.

CDPR (CD Projekt Red) recently announced that they’re going to work more on the game and release Cyberpunk 2077 5 months later, on the 17th of September of this year.

Most sources/rumors suggest that it is due to performance issues on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, and they will be taking their time to refine it. The delay hurts, because a lot of people pre-ordered it, but as they say, good things take time and are worth the wait. 5 months isn’t a lot, and hopefully the game is well optimized for all platforms.

Next up is fan favorite, community supported Dying Light 2, developed by Techland. This is sadder because it has been delayed indefinitely, and has no release date as of now. Makes sense, but also hurts a lot!

And the fans are truly disappointed, but still support their decision. Which is an overall positive reaction, I’d say.

Cyberpunk 2077 Confirms MULTIPLAYER Mode!

Well, well, well. If it isn’t the most publicized game at the moment – and for all the good reasons!

Cyberpunk Devs JUST confirmed this week that there will indeed be a Multiplayer Mode that will be rolled out very shortly after release – and they want you to know that they have been working on it since a long time, and that it isn’t some random decision taken in the last few months.

Apparently, they had no idea how well the audience would respond to their E3 reveal, but yes, they have been working on it for quite some time now.

So basically, you can play co-op with your friends, or just have (possibly) GTA level/type heists.

It’s not really confirmed what the Multiplayer Mode brings to the game, but we will have to wait and see for ourselves.

Why Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be The Greatest Game of 2020

Now that we have gotten over E3 2019 and the wholesome Keanu Reeves Cyberpunk memes, we can finally talk about the game, and why it’s gonna be one of the best games of 2020.

Let’s start from the beginning. This game is an RPG, and a story-rich game. It’s also massively open world-ish with an FPS perspective. As of now, there is very little information about the online/multiplayer game mode(s), but CD Projekt Red have confirmed its existence. Oh and yeah, it has Keanu Reeves.

It embodies almost all the major AND best aspects of any game into one whole brilliant experience, and as seen from the first 48 minutes of gameplay, it also looks BEAUTIFUL.

The character customization is extremely detailed and intricate, and is something you would spend hours on. From basic bodily personalizations to stat allocation, it is well thought of – and very fluid in nature.

Choices you make affect the ENTIRE game moving forward, and thus your overall gameplay. It is worthy to mention that this game is NSFW and 18+ for mature audiences only, which brings us to the matter of the story – it will be made for an older audience, with a story that has multiple layers in it, and have depth; pretty sure also a rollercoaster of emotions attached with it.

Being an RPG game, the interaction with objects, people and the environment (including surroundings) is simply awesome.

As you can see in this gameplay video below, these interactions are very personalized and actually fun.

You can drive cars, customize your weapons, your wardrobe to some extent, and also gain/increase stats by completing side missions, unlocking new content throughout the game, get new vendors to buy special items…the list just goes on.

The story is set in the future, and has taken a lot of real world issues/current events into account and created a realistic albeit virtual experience in the form of this game – and it is DARK. The future is not rosy, but it is ruthless, scary, dangerous and not for pussies.

All in all, this game has taken into account everything a gamer would want, and the devs want to provide the best possible experience for their audience – even adding absolutely ZERO microtransactions which already ranks it higher in my eyes.

Well, all we have to do now is wait for April 2020, which is when the game will be released. Are you ready? Good. We got a city to burn. 😉
