A WIP of Dead Island 2 Gameplay LEAKED?!

Yes, you heard that right. If you’re a fan of the Dead Island Franchise and love playing games like Dying Light, you’re in for a treat.

As luck would have it, the devs at Techland/Deep Silver scrapped working on it and there were a lot of issues with the development itself.

Techland cut ties with Deep Silver to work on Dying Light and the game is still in development as of now.

But now a video of the unfinished game has surfaced (supposedly LEAKED) online and you can have a glimpse at it!

Initially being announced at E3 2014, however, its abundantly clear that even 6 years later the game still seems to be a long way off completion.

You cannot actually play this demo/alpha build but you can pray that it gets released one day.

Or it might just turn out to be like Half Life 3. Well, at least we still have hope since this is still in development and has SOMETHING to look forward to.

PS5 Launch on June 4 : The Future Of Gaming

Alright, the hype is real. It’s happening. Sony has finally confirmed a livestreaming event on June 4 for the reveal of new PS5 games and also to delve a bit deeper into the tech that is gonna change gaming.

The June 04 event will mainly focus on games themselves, but little information is given about the console itself. A reveal about it is unlikely. Sony has so far only unveiled a logo for the console, the PS5 gamepad, and a tech demo showing the console’s graphics capability, which was discussed in one of our previous articles.

Eight Ryzen Zen 2 cores with a variable frequency up to 3.5 GHz.

Custom AMD GPU based on their RDNA 2 technology that promises 10.28 teraflops, based on 36 compute units running at up to 2.23 GHz.

Custom 825GB SSD as well as a dedicated hardware unit for 3D audio.

Finally, hardware acceleration for real-time ray tracing.

Unreal Engine 5 Revealed – Why It Will Revolutionize The Gaming Industry

This week, something very “epic” was revealed – something that will totally change how most games will perform and look in the near future on current and next gen platforms.

Yes, we’re talking about Unreal Engine 5. Remember when Unreal wasn’t an engine and was just a game? Wew. Time flies! I can already imagine some old gamers (boomers?) talking about it… “In our time we used to PLAY Unreal.”

Here’s an in-depth look at “Lumen in the Land of Nanite” – a real-time demonstration running live on PlayStation 5 showcasing two new core technologies that will debut in UE5: Nanite virtualized micropolygon geometry, which frees artists to create as much geometric detail as the eye can see, and Lumen, a fully dynamic global illumination solution that immediately reacts to scene and light changes.

The video basically explains everything you need to know, but for the non-technical people out there, it means that the designers have WAY MORE control over what they want to create without having to worry about it not working/taking the load, hence create even better visually appealing and realistic models that won’t be taxing.

Not just that, their creativity won’t be hindered and a whole new level of gaming will arise, very soon.

Summer Game Fest – What You Need To Know

Gamers, rejoice! The Summer Game Fest is here – and it’s being described as the industry-wide celebration of video games by their official website. It will bring the industry together from May through August for 4 months of news, reveals, and announcements.

There’s gonna be a huge lineup featuring Sony, Microsoft, CD Projekt Red, EA, Bethesda, and more…

As of now, their website doesn’t have much to show, except to give you an option to subscribe to their newsletter so you can get notified when it goes live!

The first event is next week, and Phase 1 has been discussed/shown below as you can see :

This is the world’s first online gaming festival, in response to all cancelled events, announcements and lineups due to the Covid-19 virus and, to be fair, this is an amazing response!

Resident Evil 8 : RUMORS, LEAKS, UPDATES!

After back to back successes with the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remake, Capcom is all set to go ahead with RE:8 and boy, oh boy, it’s gonna look EPIC on the next gen consoles!

Here’s what we know so far!

Resident Evil fansite Biohazard Declassified very recently uploaded this information they received about the next installment of the game. The new title will reportedly be called Resident Evil VIII: Village, and may arrive by early 2021, but may be delayed to late 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic crisis.

Ironical, isn’t it? Playing Resident Evil during a pandemic.

The game is a direct continuation of Resident Evil 7 : Biohazard and will feature Ethan Winters and also Chris Redfield. Other OG protagonists like Jill Valentine and / or Leon Kennedy might also be present in the game, as NPCs or playable characters with their own arcs.

> The game will allegedly feature a first person view and next gen graphics

> There’s gonna be a new inventory management system and better game mechanics

> Location will be somewhere in Europe, a small village/town, hence the name!

> Traditional zombies looking to make a return, along with a lot of new enemies and a way more scarier atmosphere!

That’s all we know for sure, and I’d suggest that you take this with a grain of salt, but an update is an update!

You heard it correct, folks! The epic successor of RE2 BioHazard has a downloadable demo, and it’s out!

It was long time coming and it already looks friggin’ amazing, and oh boy, are you in for a treat?!

Jill Valentine has to escape Raccoon City. That’s all there is. Oh, and also. If you thought Mr. X was scary – uhhhh I got some news. Nemesis gives 0 flying fucks and literally makes you have a conscious nightmare. This game is scary. It’s brutal.

Although the demo roughly takes only 30 minutes to complete, it still does a good job of selling you the actual game. What are you waiting for then? Hop on and play the Demo Version!

New Samurai Jack Game Announced – COMING SUMMER 2020!!!

Yes! You heard that right! Outta nowhere, a new Samurai Jack game has been announced and it will be available summer 2020!

What’s BIG, is that it will feature all the SAME voice actors from the show and will be available on PS4, XboxOne, PC and Nintendo Switch!

The official description states –

“Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is a brand new, 3D hack-and-slash where players control Jack as he travels through different timelines towards his final showdown with Aku.”

The news just keeps getting better – the publishers are Adult Swim Games. The trailer for the game looks really promising, and the images uploaded on Steam also give us a little insight on how the game will look like!

Nvidia Reveals Epic Cyberpunk 2077 RTX 2080Ti (That You Can’t Buy)

Well played Nvidia, showcase something that someone can’t buy? Oh well, it is definitely a one-time limited edition made specifically for the game, and some lucky streamer or YouTuber will probably get the chance to use it or review it.

They’ve made only 77 of these and 77 random lucky people will be able to get it.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t admire it!

An official announcement will be coming out soon, and will let us know when the GPU will be given away. Since Cyberpunk 2077 has already been delayed to September, we’ll just have to wait…

Everything aside, it looks truly epic and I hope I get one 😂😂

Okay, so first thing’s first, we need to make it clear that the Playstation 5 is actually not a rumor but a REAL thing that will be released this year, even though the design/controller hasn’t been revealed or seen officially. (Yet).

In other news, the controller will be revealed during the first quarter of this year and the pre-orders will start shortly after – and you bet your bottom dollar that it is going to be a better investment than PS4 Pro.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will launch PlayStation®5 (PS5™) in several countries in the holiday season of 2020 and will make PlayStation®5 (PS5™) available in North America on November 20, 2020 at a recommended retail price (RRP) of $499 .

Since the PS4 Pro costs around $399 approximately at the moment, it is totally worth it to wait and spend a hundred bucks extra for a LOT of reasons!
