Steam Deck Hybrid

July 15 was a happy day for all gamers worldwide as Valve announced the Steam Deck! (Not to be confused with the Stream Deck that was launched by Elgato, also on the same day xD)

You get your entire Steam Library onto this device and it can basically run as a mini PC. You can also download and install third party apps and services on this!

It’s powered by an AMD CPU. Here are the full specs:

There’s a sort of a mixed response from Nintendo Switch players, owing to its high price and the similarities it has to the Switch, even the design. But Nintendo doesn’t own the rights to concept of a hybrid console so… I guess that’s fine? It’s difficult to know for sure, as Nintendo will sue half the Italian population just for having the name Mario.

Back to the Steam Deck – you can reserve one now HERE via Steam or on their official website!

Stay tuned for more updates! Have a great weekend, y’all!

Ryzen completely destroys Intel – LATEST!

AMD Ryzen 5000

The less we talk is better. Just watch this video.

The framerates we see on the benchmarks are absolutely mind-blowing. AMD destroys Intel in almost all games possible. Even the budget Ryzen 5 5600X competes pretty well against Intel’s flagship Core i9-10900K.

Basically, Ryzen 5 5600X is currently giving the same gaming performance as that of the Intel flagship at lower costs at stock speeds. If the CPU is overclocked, it can give more FPS than Intel flagship and beat any other high-end Intel CPU comfortably. This is such great news for all PC gamers.

And also good for AMD. They got the highest CPU share after a decade right before the Ryzen 5000 launch.

For a larger and a better in depth analysis, refer to this comparison : https://www.wepc.com/tips/amd-ryzen-5000-vs-intel-10th-gen/

Watch how Intel takes a big L. But, the question is still there : Intel or AMD?

Well for now, it’s a bit too early to say so, but the performance so far looks amazing. More third party reviews need to still be confirmed and then, we can finally have a definite answer. Until then, stay tuned!

New AMD Radeon GPU Looks RAD

AMD Radeon RX 6000 GPU Big Navi

Keeping up with the competition, AMD is not too far with it’s RX 6000 series, which is scheduled to be released on the 28th of October this year.

AMD released an official picture of the GPU to create some hype and it worked of course. The Big Navi, as its called, is… well.. quite massive, and lives up to it’s name.

Apparently they’re tying up with Fortnite and leveraging it to promote their GPU, and as you can see, you can have a look at the GPU in the Fortnite Creative Mode using the given code.

Not only does it look rad, it’s performance is rad too. These are a few things we do know –

  1. Up to 80 CUs / 5120 shaders
  2. 50% better performance per watt
  3. Faster, efficient and ray tracing support

Still no actual official information about the price and related info. The graphics card features a triple-fan cooling solution, which I guess means it’s powerful as heck and needs to a lot to cool down?

Stay tuned for any official updates, we will keep you in the loop!
