Core, an Unreal powered platform launches today on the Epic Games Store, for FREE!
It’s a place where developers make their games and publish them using Unreal Engine, and then made available to us, the gamers, to test and play for free. According to Epic Games, it has over 20,000 games in almost every genre possible, so you will never run out of games to play…
The best thing about this platform CORE, is that even you can publish your own games as a developer and earn via Epic Games.
Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) dropping today! And at no extra cost either! It’s all inclusive in the Xbox Game Pass… So what is this “extra” service that Microsoft is providing its users?
Well, not too difficult to understand, and definitely not a new concept – Xbox Cloud Gaming is simply Microsoft’s attempt at providing high end game streaming service to anyone with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and a really good high speed internet connection.
Google’s Stadia launched a similar service in 2019, and it was a success – especially due to the ongoing pandemic.
The biggest advantage to this service is that Microsoft is not charging ANYTHING extra for this, and the beta versions are rolling out today, and is available in 22 countries as of now on Android devices. It is also available on an invite-only basis on iPhone, iPad and Windows PCs.

Yeah you heard it right! Rocket League is coming to iOS and Android devices later this year, and Psyonix just uploaded a video showing Alpha footage of the gameplay on their YouTube channel.
It’s a standalone game, called Sideswipe and players will compete in two-minute 1v1 or 2v2 matches. Sideswipe is a brand new experience as it would switch to touch controls. If you’re a Rocket League player, then you’d be curious and excited about it because it’s completely different yet the same!
They did it to accommodate with the mobile gaming experience. It was about time this game came to mobile platforms, just like many others, like Fortnite, Call Of Duty, PUBG, and more… Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think!
RL Sideswipe will also be free to play, so don’t worry about paying a single dime. Can’t wait for the release and see more of the gameplay!

Yes, you beautiful bastards, Techland finally has good news for us. Things are looking real bright for Dying Light 2 and I’m sure most fans are elated to hear it – just as we here at GamersOutlet.net are.
Techland released a video a couple of days ago titled MARCH 2021 UPDATE, and in it they talk about (well, mainly just read tweets and comments of anxious fans) the game not being released and address rumors of it being “delayed indefinitely” and “cancelled.”
As the video comes to an end, we are met with some real good news – Dying Light is coming out this year, mostly late 2021. We don’t know the exact date since it wasn’t revealed, but we are given a small glimpse of the game again (new gameplay) and the final release date (although not an exact one.)
Amidst rumors of the autocratic upper level management and very very hectic and toxic workplace leading to many devs and important people working on the game walking away, the studio stands strong and admits that they announced the game too early.
Perhaps they were being way too optimistic. But that happens sometimes! Anyway – the good news is that the game is being released and it’s gonna be great. Can’t wait for it honestly!
How excited are you? Let us know in the comments below!!!

Yes, you heard that right. The yearly gaming event that always brings BIG surprises for us might be shifting to a digital platform due to the ongoing pandemic this year.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo features many big titles and reveals and although it was cancelled in 2020, it has been confirmed to take place, and was announced by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). Their spokesperson told Verge :“We can confirm that we are transforming the E3 experience for 2021 and will soon share exact details on how we’re bringing the global video game community together.”
It will mostly take place in June, between the 15th and 17th. If you’re not living under a rock, you know how big this event is for the gaming industry.
These are all the games you should be excited about, and rightfully so!
Unfortunately it’s not a 100% confirmed whether it’s going fully digital or not, but it surely sounds like it; owing to the ongoing pandemic and a lot of economic uncertainty and instability, it would make more sense to shift it to a digital format, like the Summer Games Fest from last year. Or the Game Awards. Let’s see what the future holds for us.
Until then, keep hustlin’ gamers!
If you’ve not checked out our website already, go have a look! We’ve got some really sweet discounts waiting for ya and you wouldn’t wanna miss them! 😉
Things haven’t been going too well for CD Projekt Red, with rumors of investors suing them for releasing an unfinished game, to gamers complaining for the insane amount of glitches and bugs on last gen consoles and even on PC, they’ve been hit with a lot of shitstorms lately.
Even after so much, they’ve tried to be consistent and released hotfixes and patches to try and minimize the damage caused. It’s been a rocky road for them but somehow they are surviving. A big blow for them was when they decided to completely take the game off of the Playstation Store. They started issuing refunds to all the buyers who were dissatisfied or had a horrible experience, mostly because everyone had really high expectations from the studio, and the game. Previously worked on titles like the Witcher series, fans were expecting a lot more, and the marketing didn’t cause any less hype. With Keanu Reeves at the forefront and the poster boy for the game, everybody already had voted this as the GOTY in their minds.
Guess they were wrong! To ease into the situation, the studio’s co-founder speaks to us in a heartfelt video explaining what went wrong, and we should expect in near future.
Public apologies are always difficult, and owning up to them even more so. With the amount of hate received by the studio recently, they needed to make things clear from their side, also because a lot of crazy fans were pushing the game devs and designers with death threats and harmful messages.
That is totally uncool and unwarranted. Well, let’s see what the future holds, with the free DLC dropping this year things might change and help people get a different perspective.
Let us know what you think about this and leave your comments below!

Thanks for reading through, and have a great week ahead!
It’s been almost a week since the Steam Sales kicked off for this winter, as usual…. What should you look out for? Are the deals really that good? Are your pockets ready to feel the wrath of Gaben?!
Let’s get down to it. First, you should go check out Steam’s Top Games of 2020. As they mention, most of them are already heavily discounted and you should totally get them until the 5th Jan.
Not to mention, the steam points you accumulate can be used for some pretty sick profile banners, icons and all other cool jazz!
To take a deep dive into the games that you should totally get (reviewed by critics and gamers to give it a high score) check out this really cool guide via PCGamer, that has divided the games into different price sections. (I scrolled down to the below $5 category because I’m broke as hell lmao).
Another good concise guide would be Verge’s take at the sales – and they’ve also included a few from the Epic Games Store, for comparison. Go check it out!
We feel that you should get these (if your wallet permits):
Hades
Fall Guys
Doom Eternal
Risk of Rain 2
Halo Master Chief Collection
Sekiro
Call of Cthulhu… and others that you may like from both of those lists above!
And you should ALSO alternatively check out our store for more deals if you’re not satisfied with the Steam Sales 😉
Have a safe week and a HAPPPPPYYYY NEW YEAR in advance, folks! Thank you for all your support this year, we love and appreciate it! See you on the other side. Have a blast, and wish you all an epic 2021.
Cyberpunk 2077 was released today, December 10th. But it’s been alive for a very long time. 7 years in making. Finally, today we get to see the life of Night City, as V.
It’s somewhere near the end of the 21st century. You’re cybernetically enhanced, you can customize parts of your body and be whoever you want to be, as long as you have the dough. Yet, you’re in a black hole of your own past, dark, helpless and tired of running away from your issues. You’re sitting on a couch, watching some news on a high tech viewing device while drinking a fluorescent liquid that can bring your half human, half cyborg body down to the levels of tipsiness. You are thinking. About life. About death. Should you end it? Or should you reset your brain and live pain and guilt free? You get up and look out of the window, only to see the sentinels beat a guy who once sold you some synthesized mind stabilizers, to his death.
This image gives me chills. A true Cyberpunk era.
Then, why are gamers angry? Why is the game so damn buggy? Well, for starters, it’s Day 0 of launch. We gotta be patient. For now, it’s poorly optimized and they are working on a new patch already. With the crash reports from all the players, they will design a patch that improves performance, stabilizes the issues and removes these funny bugs.
Among disappearing penises and random cars crashing into NPCs, there’s a lot of them, check out this short compilation of some CB2077 bugs found in-game!
Well, as I said, no need to worry. The bugs shall be fixed and a patch should be on the way.
The only thing you need to do, is to be patient for just a little bit more and immerse yourself in Night City, again. See you soon, V.
