Why waiting for the PS5 might actually be a good idea – Things you need to know!

Okay, so first thing’s first, we need to make it clear that the Playstation 5 is actually not a rumor but a REAL thing that will be released this year, even though the design/controller hasn’t been revealed or seen officially. (Yet).

In other news, the controller will be revealed during the first quarter of this year and the pre-orders will start shortly after – and you bet your bottom dollar that it is going to be a better investment than PS4 Pro.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will launch PlayStation®5 (PS5™) in several countries in the holiday season of 2020 and will make PlayStation®5 (PS5™) available in North America on November 20, 2020 at a recommended retail price (RRP) of $499 .

Since the PS4 Pro costs around $399 approximately at the moment, it is totally worth it to wait and spend a hundred bucks extra for a LOT of reasons!

About the controller and it’s design – not much is known at the moment, not even an official name… Although it will be announced by March. We can hardly wait.

This console packs a LOT of power and will be a good competition for other consoles and well, the PC Master race as well! 8k TV support? Hell yeah!

So, sit back, relax, and just wait – it’s not too long for the Playstation 5 to come out and boy oh boy, it’s gonna be EPIC!

Delays, Delays and MORE DELAYS! :(

Being a big game developing studio and having the hopes of millions of people attached to it has it’s pros and cons – Tons of support, hundreds of thousands of concurrent players, cool communities and more… But it also puts a lot of pressure on these studios, which is why they take more time to release certain games, to keep up with the hype.

The same has happened with 2 brilliant and very famous studios, and both the games they were working on, have been delayed.

CYBERPUNK 2077

CDPR (CD Projekt Red) recently announced that they’re going to work more on the game and release Cyberpunk 2077 5 months later, on the 17th of September of this year.

Most sources/rumors suggest that it is due to performance issues on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, and they will be taking their time to refine it. The delay hurts, because a lot of people pre-ordered it, but as they say, good things take time and are worth the wait. 5 months isn’t a lot, and hopefully the game is well optimized for all platforms.

DYING LIGHT 2

Next up is fan favorite, community supported Dying Light 2, developed by Techland. This is sadder because it has been delayed indefinitely, and has no release date as of now. Makes sense, but also hurts a lot!

And the fans are truly disappointed, but still support their decision. Which is an overall positive reaction, I’d say.

RIP Windows 7 – You will be missed.

Yes, you heard it right. Windows 7 support ends after today. Sad news for all Win7 peeps out there. Press F for respects.

Over a million PCs still use Windows 7 and Microsoft has been urging them to update their OS since a few years now.

But at last, we bid farewell to something that we all loved, something that was designed to cover up the abomination that we now call Windows Vista – and so the official support for it ends on the 14.01.20.

If you’re still using Windows 7, we’d recommend you update to a newer release, like Windows 8 or Windows 10 Pro, which are both pretty decent Win OS versions with constant fixes and patches.

Using Windows 7 after today can be extremely risky and can put your PC under a lot of threats, since there won’t be ANY kind of fix for that and can really set you in a vulnerable position if someone tries to exploit the bugs that are present in the OS.

Yes, we’ve watched a bit too much of Mr. Robot, haha. But yeah, take care and update it as soon as possible.

It’s super hyped up, we all know that – and it was released around last week and has been highly criticized, both positively and negatively. What should you do?

Hideo Kojima, the legend himself has written, directed and published this game via Kojima Productions. It features Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen. There is a reason for people to go crazy about this game.

But here’s 5 things you should know before buying it. Yes, there are no spoilers, so we won’t delve too deep.

GAMEPLAY

The game is approximately 50-60 hours long on an average and is kinda tedious at times, but looks absolutely wonderful.

It’s more of a WALKING SIMULATOR than an actual game – and that is what a lot of people have been criticizing on, and Kojima has been more of a film director on this game, which is why it’s just one large story – which plays out slowly.

The graphics are just beyond amazing, and so are the performances delivered by the actors. The motion capture work is so lifelike – and truly gets you involved.

MECHANICS

You’re more of a FedEx delivery dude (a porter) who has to (of course) deliver packages and ensure mankind’s survival, and he must fight/flee from otherworldly creatures called BTs. It’s mainly set in post apocalyptic United States after an extinction event called “Death Stranding” occurred.

There’s a beautiful touch to the game via an online element which shows you all the other player’s constructions and items, and displays yours, to them.

STORY

The story is… well kinda slow. It doesn’t really progress a lot for the first 10-12 hours and your basic jist is just to deliver packages and NOT DYING. Apart from that, since you can build bridges and roads, or contribute resources to other people’s, with the landscape slowly becoming more traversable as this equipment and structures appear, bearing the name of whoever originally built it and showing the ‘likes’ its received.

Which makes it interesting towards the newer chapters and further into the game.

WORTH/PRICE

Is it really worth it? You decide. Somewhere between $56-59 USD, depending on the store, it’s decently priced for the amount of hours you can actually put in. The game is long, and doesn’t get over easily. A lot of players spent like 30-35 hours and only reached Chapter 3, which is kind of only a fraction of the full game.

PLATFORMS

As of now it is only available for PS4, but it has a 2020 spring release for PC (Windows) as well. You can still pre-order it for PC though.

After the mishap caused during the Grand Prix event – which kinda crashed Steam altogether, with random glitches, imbalanced event mini games, wishlist disappearance, etc. we can hope that this isn’t going to be repeated – and that they would have a far more entertaining event than the Summer Sales event, since that was pretty bland.

Let’s hope for the best and see how things go. As for now, I’m gonna sit tight and not spend anything on Steam, however ludicrous the offers may be. I’m gonna save like a squirrel and THEN GO ALL IN.

Dying Light 2 – News Update

Well, it’s been some time since there was an actual update about the game – but time to rejoice, and for good reason too, since we have a HUGE update from Techland!

Originally when Dying Light (the original) came out, it was 2015 and they are STILL providing content and support for the game, 4 years later, in 2019.

Recently, they came up with the Godfather update, and boy oh boy, it looks delicious!

Needless to say, our first big update on Dying Light 2 is that it will receive the SAME content additions and support just like its predecessor, and for almost half a decade AT THE MINIMUM.

Which is truly amazing, and gives us a real good reason to buy the game and play it – because not only can we continue playing it for a longer time, but we will also be in touch with it, without getting bored.

Not to mention the community’s side, where they make their own maps, mini games and challenges – which are equally fun to complete and test your skill too!
